Since you got the chicken eggs in the mail, I suggest you to candle each one to ensure there are no cracks and that the air cells are not detached in shipping. For this, I usually use a small penlight to shine a beam of light into each egg. Also, I gently rotate the eggs to make sure the air cell was attached to its proper place at the large end of the egg. As always, shipped eggs should be rested at least 6-12 hours before they are placed in the incubator.

Create an environment for your eggs where the humidity is at 60 to 65 percent during the first 18 days. Raise the humidity levels to 80 to 85 percent for the last 3 days (days 18 to 21).
