Gifts from the hive is a hobby farm located in the beautiful Stockbridge Valley right here in Central New York. Our bees are considered and cared for as our pets. We only work with them on sunny days, greatly reducing stress and the possibility of unduley upsetting the hive. As a result, our bees are happy and friendly, helping to increase production of the highest quality honey products. This makes it possible to offer some of these fine products to all our friends and neighbors in the CNY area. Our bees collect nectar from wild flowers for most of the summer with a strong goldenrod flow in the fall. Come meet the beekeeper where you can find some raw honey, honeycomb and beeswax candles. You might even find some of our dark brown French black copper Maran eggs as well as stumble across a couple pot bellied pigs wandering around with the ducks and chickens. Don't worry, our animals have all been hand raised and are very friendly.
