Hi, I have been shipping live animals to many of my buyers around the U.S via USPS Express Mail. When I list my items for sale, I mention in the description that “shipping cost would be at buyer’s expense”. This is what I do when I list the items in Frankstrade. In Sell page, 1. Select the Shipping option 'Calculate Actual Cost' 2. Enter the Package weight, box dimensions, Carrier, Package Type and service. You can also choose the Shipping Label Source which means whether you need Online Price or the Post Office Price as Shipping Cost from the buyer. 3. You can also select ‘Local Pickup’ and offer free shipping for the item to attract buyers. 3. Also, you can enter the ‘Handling and box cost’ if needed. If the seller needs a Flat cost for shipping, he should select the shipping option ‘Charge a Flat Cost’ and should enter the ‘Shipping Cost paid by the Buyer’. So, after I list this item for sale in Frankstrade, buyers can see the option ‘Calculate Shipping Cost’ in the Item View Page. Buyers can click on this link and see the shipping cost. For eg: see this link https://www.frankstrade.com/4235/one-2012-hatch-pair-of-north-american-ruddy-duck Once buyer purchases this item, buyer pays for the live bird + shipping cost. After the receipt of payment, I create 'Shipping Label' using the online process in Frankstrade, this saves my time since buyer's address and other details gets filled automatically. Thanks.
