Autofill Form 3-186



Tired of typing the fields in Form 3-186 everytime you sell migratory waterfowls? To avoid this tedious task of filling out Form 3-186, Frankstrade has introduced 'Autofill Form 3-186 feature'  which lets you generate the form with just one click. Data like species name, male, female and eggs count will be auto filled in Form 3-186, provided the item is sold through Frankstrade. Seller just needs to generate the form, electronically sign it. After this, buyer can counter-sign the form. This signed copy can be downloaded and sent to Federal Department. This feature saves the valuable time of our members.

This new feature is explained in detail below:

Step 1: Seller should fill Item Type in Sell Page if Form 3-186 is applicable for the item.

For the data like species name, male, female and eggs count to be auto filled in Form 3-186, seller should fill the field Item Type in Sell Page.



Few examples are:

If you are selling an item for which Form 3-186 is not applicable, then Item Type should be filled as::



If you are selling 1 mandarin drake, then Item Type should be filled as:



If you are selling a Pair of mandarin ducks, then Item Type should be filled as:



If you are selling Trio of call ducks, then Item Type should be filled as:



If you are selling Lot of 5 eggs, then Item Type should be filled as:



If you are selling Lot of 5 ducks (3 males and 2 females), then Item Type should be filled as:



Step 2: Waterfowl breeders who would like to auto fill Form 3-186 for the items sold should update Federal Permit Number.

For this, either click on the hyperlink displayed in My Account >Forms page (highlighted in red color in the image below) OR go to My Account > Edit Profile.



Once the Permit Number is entered, it will be displayed as:



Step 3: Seller should add Shipping Date for the sold items for which Form 3-186 is applicable.

Go to My Account > Forms OR click on www.frankstrade.com/Forms
By default, Role will be Seller and Status will be Pending.
All the sold items will be displayed at the lower section.
Click on Add Shipping Date, enter the date and click on Add.
Once Shipping Date is updated, the entry will move to the upper section in Forms page.



Note:
    1. If Form 3-186 is not applicable for any item, please tick the checkbox and click on Update As Forms Not Applicable.
    2. Items bought by same buyer and shipped on same date will be grouped together. So, seller can generate single Form 3-186 for all such items.

Step 4: Seller can generate Form 3-186

Once Shipping Date is updated, the entry will move to the upper section in Forms page from where seller can generate Form 3-186.



For this, seller should tick the checkbox next to the Species name and click on Generate Form.
Details like permittee and recipient address, date of shipment, species name and count will be autofilled in this preview page.
Seller can enter the Method of Marking.
Then, seller should click on Click here to sign electronically.
Upon doing this, Permittee's electronic signature as well as Signed Date will be placed here.



Upon signing by seller, the following alert message is shown. Also, a mail will be sent to buyer intimating the buyer to counter-sign the form.



Seller can preview the generated form if he changes the status in Forms page from Pending to Seller Signed, Buyer not signed.







Step 5: Buyer can counter-sign Form 3-186

For the buyer to counter-sign the form, login and go to My Account > Forms OR click on www.frankstrade.com/Forms
Select the Role as Buyer.
Choose the appropriate Sold Date, select the Seller ID from the dropdown.
Select the Status as Seller Signed, Buyer not signed and click on Search.
Click on Preview.
In the Preview page, buyer can click on Click here to sign electronically.
Upon doing this, Recipient's electronic signature as well as Signed Date will be placed here.

Upon signing by seller, the following alert message is shown. Also, a mail will be sent to seller intimating that buyer has signed the form.



Step 6: Seller and Buyer can download Form 3-186

After buyer signs the form, seller can download the form and sent it to Federal Department.

To download the form, change the status from Pending to Signed by Seller and Buyer and click on Download of the corresponding item.



Step 7: Update as Sent to Federal Department.

After seller sends the Form to Federal Department, he can update the status to Update as Sent to Federal Dept.
For this,
Select the status Signed by Seller and Buyer.
Tick the checkbox of the corresponding item and click on Update as Sent to Federal Dept button on top.
