I have a 2012 hatch split to silver wood duck pair. They are fullwinged and the male is almost in full breeding plumage. The father was a silver wood duck and they do carry the silver color gene even though they look like normal wood ducks. If you breed them together you will get 20-25% silver offspring, and of the remaining normal colored ones, you will get half split to silver and the other half normal with no silver gene. They are healthy birds that are ready for your aviary! I would prefer not to ship, but shipping will be available. The pictures are of my actual birds. Some pictures show the split to silver birds that are for sale, and others show their silver dad. Thanks for looking. |
