LISTING TYPES IN FRANKSTRADE.COM
AUCTION LISTING TYPE An auction means to sell something through a bidding system. Fill the following fields to list an item for auction at Frankstrade.com.
Starting Bid: This is the starting price for your item when bidding opens at Frankstrade.com. We suggest that you set this as low as possible to encourage bidding.
Reserve Price: Although a low starting price encourages users to bid, you can protect yourself from selling an item for too low of a price by creating an auction-style listing and setting a reserve price at Frankstrade.com. Reserve price is the minimum amount you will sell the item for. Frankstrade.com does not reveal the Reserve price amount to the bidders. If left blank, no reserve will be used. Dutch Auctions (Multiple items auction) do not have a reserve price.
Buy It Now: This is the fixed price at which you will sell the item at Frankstrade.com.
Example 1: If you wish to sell an item and $70 is the minimum amount you will sell the item for, then you can set it in the following ways:
With Reserve Price. Setting a low starting price encourages users to bid. If the bidding doesn't reach the reserve price, you are under no obligation to sell the item at Frankstrade.com.
Without Reserve Price Setting starting price as the minimum selling price gives bidders at Frankstrade.com an idea on the amount you will sell the item for.
Example 2: If you wish to sell an item and $70 is the minimum amount you will sell the item for, but you are willing to sell it as soon as you get $80, then you can set it in the following ways:
With Reserve Price and Buy Now. Setting a low starting price encourages users to bid. If the bidding doesn't reach the reserve price, you are under no obligation to sell the item at Frankstrade.com. If a buyer buys it at $80, then your item is sold at once.
Without Reserve Price and Buy Now. Setting starting price as the minimum selling price gives bidders at Frankstrade.com an idea on the amount you will sell the item for. If a buyer buys it at $80, then your item is sold at once.
